Who we are

What we collect

We collect only what the site actually uses.

• Your email address, if you choose to give it to join the launch list or to hear about an order.
• What you tell the concierge. Our on-site assistant keeps a record of your conversation, and remembers a short profile so it can pick up where you left off: your first name if you give it, the hair or skin concerns and goals you describe, whether you are shopping for hair or skin, your hair or skin type, ingredient sensitivities you mention, and which products you have discussed.
• A device identifier stored in your browser so the concierge can recognise you on a later visit. It is not a cookie and it does not follow you to other websites. Clearing your browser storage removes it.
• Order and delivery details when you buy, which are handled by Stripe, our payment processor.
• Standard technical data your browser sends with any request, such as IP address and user agent.
• Analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics to count visits, see which pages people read, and measure some interactions such as how far down a page you scroll and which outbound links you click. It sets cookies in your browser that tell one visitor from another. Your IP address is anonymised, and Google's advertising and personalisation signals are turned off, so this analytics data is not used to build an advertising profile of you.

Health-adjacent information

If you tell the concierge about a skin or scalp concern, an allergy or a sensitivity, that is personal information about you and we treat it that way. Our assistant is deliberately built not to store what you say about pregnancy, nursing, medication or a medical condition. Those disclosures are used to answer you in the moment and are not kept in your profile.

The concierge is not a medical service and does not give medical advice. For anything health related, speak with your doctor.

Who processes it

We do not sell your personal information for money.

• Our assistant runs on a third-party AI service, which processes the text of your conversation in order to reply. It is not used to train that provider's models.
• Fonts on this site load from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
• Google Analytics receives the pages you view, the interactions above, and a cookie identifier. We have not enabled advertising features, and we do not share this data with Google for its own products.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Shipping details go to the carrier that delivers your order.

How long we keep it

We keep your concierge profile so the assistant can recognise you on a return visit, and conversation records for a limited period so we can answer questions about them. We delete conversation records 180 days after the conversation, and your profile 180 days after your last visit. Copies in our backups are removed within a further six months. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. Reach us through support@celloralabs.com and we will action it.

Nothing above runs until you say yes. The first time you visit we ask, and analytics stays switched off until you accept. If you decline, it never loads. You can change your mind whenever you like using the Cookie choices link at the foot of any page, which asks you again.

You can also opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google's browser add-on, or by blocking cookies for this site.

You can clear your concierge profile yourself at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site. We sell only in the United States. Depending on the state you live in, for example California, you may have additional rights under state privacy law.

Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
